FORGIVENESS

Been told to forgive
Forget the years of torment
As if it was just a card game

I feel foreign
In my own land

Nobody remembers
Nobody cares

I feel alien
Among the crowds

See their faces
Know their names

The red disease
Has spread its seed
When the Round Table knights
Turned villains into heroes

See them
In their limos
Palaces of precious stone

Been told to forgive
Forget the years of torture
As if it was just a cheap show

Murder in the daylight
Spit in the face
Unforgiveable
But not here
Where mockery
Dances its new dance

How can I live?
Like a relic
Like a clown
Among the numb

Forgive the sinner?
Try to be blind?

BUT
I still see
The sea of blood
Burning mines and shipyards
Tanks at night

On April 10th 2010
I saw Europe weak
Just as it was in 1939
